5 WAYS TO UPCYCLE AND REUSE YOUR TIN CANS

by Sara Cartelli

Pinterest is my daily inspiration. Every day I can find house corners, recipes, quotes and wonderful diy. Such as those that I want to present today, made with tin cans. Who would have thought that a simple can of tomatoes or tuna could become a useful decorative items for the house? I, until now,  had not the slightest thought.

A scrap of cloth, an iron, a pair of scissors and hot glue: there are enough these 4 simple elements to transform a tin can in a beautiful candleholder. Simply cut the fabric, bend the sides, roll it and stick it to your can with glue. The complete tutorial from For The Markers here.

o2. Vases

There is nothing more simple: take metal paint and paint your cans. You can choose your favorite colors and flowers and use these cans as centerpieces, or for decorating some corners of your home, such as bookcases, tables or shelves.

o3. Of Storage

If in your desk, as in mine, appears to have been a tornado you can order it using your cans as a storage element for your pencils, pens and everything your need.

o4. Lamps

This idea is very creative. Use the cans as shade to make them the original hanging lamps.

Last but not least this beautiful idea dedicated to all mothers who want to flounder a creative afternoon with their children: turn cans into robots. Here there are no practical advice, the important thing is let your imagination run!
