All the shapes of the egg: L’Ov Milano

by The Rolling Forks

Recently we have discovered this beautiful bistrot and it has already entered to the top ten of our favorites brunches in the city.If you love eggs, like us, you cannot miss a stop at L’Ov Milanoh (Viale Premuda 14 or Via Solari 34).

The real protagonist that shed light at L’Ov is obviously the egg.

Not just any kind of egg, but an egg that comes from an hen that scratches through the chestnut wood, totally organic.

The brunch includes two versions: one light and one full.

The first includes eggs served in all ways: scrambled, fried, poached, omelette together with bacon or salmon and hash browns, baked potatoes or grilled tomatoes as well as pancakes with maple syrup and fruit plateau (juice, coffee and water are included in the price). The second version includes the same plates as the first one but you can add sandwiches and burgers.

We can assure you that even the light version will make you tumble happy out of the bistrot! Even the weekly proposals are all based on eggs and they are perfect for a simple lunch or dinner with some friends. The gray-green walls, the exposed bricks, the wood, the wrought iron and the delicate lighting gives the bistrot a touch of retro home, a warm, welcoming and international space.

L’Ov has really hit us and will be a fixed stop of many Sundays of our 2019!

Bio:

Lawyer and brand manager. Friends and sisters. Husband and wife, or maybe wife and wife. Both share same interests: food, wine (a lot), travels. Adventurous, crazy, funny, affected by wanderlust syndrome. Paris made it happen, now they love getting lost in the world and laugh. For Federica the motto is: “the highest you go, the farthest you see; the farthest you see, the longest you’ll dream” (W. Bonatti) For Margherita the motto is: “the sky is my only limit”
