Between art and poetry: Noor Unnahar (i.e. what you’d call a true talent)

by Sara Cartelli

And so, one day, I ran into a kick-ass nineteen-year-old girl and my envy reached stellar peaks. Because when I was nineteen the best I could do was match the shoes with the clothes. Instead, she is an artist, a poet, a writer, a blogger, a youtuber, and also a web designer. My envy now would say “yes, but she will work with a sloppy attitude. It isn’t possible she gets it all right.” Dear envy I’m sorry to contradict you, she’s doing everything right, really right.

The person in question is Noor Unnahar, a Pakistani creative girl with a thousand talents -including poetry.

A poetry made of simple, but profound verses, made of delicate words and hope written in a notebook, on walls or sheets of  paper. All accompanied by creative illustrations or collages and framed by beautiful photographs.

There is little to say. Noor Unnahar is extraordinary, her work is extraordinary and deserves to be known by as many people as possible. I can only share it and give you a taste of what she’s capable of doing, you can browse her blog or Instagram and Pinterest accounts and see if I’m telling you the truth.
