I FALL IN LOVE IF…

by Sara Cartelli

I fall in love if you are able to say thank you, you’re welcome, sorry. There are so few kind people in this world and the world has an infinite need of kindness.

I fall in love if you can understand the value of small things, like looking at the stars in a meadow during a summer night. You can get lost watching the stars, if light pollution permits. Because, at the end, the little things are the big things and, looking at the sky, you may realize how little you are.

I fall in love if you are moved by the beauty. Sensitivity is something you can’t teach.

I fall in love if you have the courage to say what you think. If you consider the comparison as an enhancement opportunity and you do not reduce it to a mere display of your personal culture.

I fall in love if you can appreciate the silence. Be closed, without filling the space around us with words, is to have reached the highest degree of intimacy. Because silence can be a shadow, but also a moment of absolute perfection.

I fall in love if you cook for me. Even if you can’t cook. Spaghetti with carbonara sauce are always welcome.

If I fall in love you do not discriminate and if you are not afraid of difference, but you see diversity as a treasure.

I fall in love if you do not forget that life is an adventure. Because, when you are an adult, you do that, we all do that. We always run on the same tracks forgetting that we can get off the train and walk new paths.

I fall in love if you love me even thought we know that I’m not the perfect right brain to your left brain. I’ll never be like you, but you don’t see it as a lack. It’s because of this that we can grow together.
