ICED COCONUT MATCHACCINO TOPPED WITH CHIA PUDDING (VEGAN RECIPE)

by Kristel Cescotto

If I say Strarbucks, you may think about Frappuccino. Something to eat and die. Literally. Yes, because it’s a booster of sugar, saturated fats, empty calories, cholesterol and cellulitis. So, we can do it at home, cooler, nutritious and full of good and nice things. And so, from now on, if I say Matchaccino, read the recipe and run to make it.

But wait: what’s the Matcha tea? (#schoolteachertime) Is one of the finest varieties of Japanese green tea in the world (is not exactly cheap but it’s worth it), the Japanese farmers grow it out of the sun collecting the leaves by hand with religious care turning them into a fine powder through the use of ancient stone mills. This magical green Edenic powder contains 137 times the antioxidant content of a regular green tea, is therefore a good anti-aging resource, detoxifying and draining.

It’s also good for our skin, especially in summer: it’s rich in carotene and polyphenols, prevents sunburn protecting us from damage caused by ultraviolet rays. Vitamin B1, B2, C, beta-carotene, the many minerals and amino acids and caffeine contained in the leaves of this amazing tea are valuable allies to reduce the physical and psychological stress. In addition, working actively on our central nervous system his assumption promotes concentration and attention: we learn by Buddhist monks who use it during meditation. It also acts positively in the digestive process, which soothes irritated mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines and is useful in the treatment of nervous or inflammatory disorders affecting the digestive system. In addition, it’s an effective remedy against gastric hyperacidity and protects the liver. As if all this were not already enough to convince you to order a pallet, Matcha tea is a trusted companion in low-calories diets. It’s able to reduce the feeling of hunger thanks to its diuretic effect helps in weight loss as well to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood.

PROCESS

First of all prepare the chia pudding pouring the seeds into a bowl where immediately add milk, stir and let stand in the fridge for half an hour. Believe it or not, after this time, the seeds will inflate and will release a kind of gelatin into the milk going to create a pudding.

So whisk boiling water into Matcha powder and pour into a blender along with frozen banana, ice, honey and milk. Blend all until smooth. You just have to pour the matchaccino into glasses, add two tablespoons of chia pudding and finish with fresh fruit. Good weekend friends.

Bio:

Once upon a time there was a 30 years old girl, and she has not the slightest idea what it would be at 32: one, no one but for sure no one hundred thousand. Daughter, sister, friend, mom of a dog, woman of an amazing man. Thinker fulltime, practices the Universal Love. Always looking for which direction take to and who to be doing it. Thank God everything flows. Panta Rei. And in the end, as in a beautiful garden Bahai, she will be delighted by lighting… and she lived happily ever after.
