Mediterranean cuisine and moules-frites in a relaxed and underground atmosphere in Zurich-West
Les Halles, known throughout the city for its moules and frites, is placed in the trendy Zurich-West district.
Yes it’s true, it is kind of funny to eat mussels in Zurich but this place is just worthy of the fame that it brings. Let’s remember that we are talking about one of the most expensive cities in the world, where eat well spending little money is something rare!
This restaurant was the Peugeot’s factory canteen in the 60s with great ambience: sharing plates a plates, a cold beer in your hand: what do you wish more in life?
The ambience is cheerful thanks also to the vintage furnishing with lots of bicycles hanging on the wall. This magic place seems a harbour Marseilles traitor and includes a fruit and vegetable market. The cherry on the top? You can go for a meal and come out with a brand new bike or decide to play with your friends at “calcio balilla”.
We recommend it after a walk through the Viadukt, the super trendy railway viaduct in Zurich.
