An amazing enoteca near Navigli district: Vinoir

by The Rolling Forks

Milan means so much to us: it means home, friendships, family, great food and even better wines at an affordable price. The city is expanding and developing into an European hub, open to the world.
At Vinoir – Ripa di Porta Ticinese 93 – we found all of the above: it conquered us in the blink of an eye.

Recently opened, Vinoir has become one of the coolest places in town.

It’s a convivial space where you can make new friends while enjoying the express chef’s cuisine and drinking natural wines.
Locates not far from the Naviglio Grande, this wine bar/bistrot has the warm touch of sharing wooden tables and it’s filled with joyful lights.

Vinoir is famous for the wide selection of natural and biodynamic wines – go to have a chat with the owner, he will impress you with his knowledge and passion.
The kitchen selection is quite small but carefully put together: whatever you will choose will be able to uplift your spirit and your soul.

We went for a sicilian Nerello Mascalese wine produced by Kaos (CT): spicy and mature, paired with a beefsteak tartare with mussels mayo and nori seaweed, fried octopus with smoked potato and black cabbage: soft and so delicate at the same time.
Then, we continued with a simple yet so nourishing tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and a crispy duck with a perfect texture!
It was an awesome evening that made us feel at home with family and friends that welcome us with a smile.

The epic end of the evening was celebrated with a glass of Passito di Pantelleria: the best epilogue, a symposium of flavors with a scentsesional November aroma.

Milan surprised us once again: that’s why we are madly in love with this city!
