THE COLOURS CHOICE TO GIVE STYLISTIC CONTINUITY TO THE HOUSE

by Sara Cartelli

A house can be stylistically coherent also choosing a nuance continuity. You can choose a color and make it become the recurring theme of your home. As happened in this Victorian house situated on the outskirts of London. A dream house, full of suggestions to get you inspired. Because maybe (or surely) we can’t never afford it, but we can let it inspire us to make more cozy and pleasant our rooms. After all: what I don’t have is what I don’t miss.

The reason why I chose it is the green color. A spring color, alive, that takes us out from winter to bring us to an oasis of peace and serenity which is called spring. A color that here was repeated in many variations and nuances through plants and furnishings, such as chairs, paintings, vases, rugs and pillows.

Other predominant color (after green) is the usual white. The ideal basic bright canvas which give shape and form. The place to start. Because when – and if – you choose a color, you have to have clear ideas on where and how use it. Otherwise, turn to second thoughts or you’ll surely say “oh my God what have I done.”

What’s your color? While you choose it be inspired by this wonder!
