Culture. Eat it
1 October 2019
Words, words, words Mina sings.
We go from making a disproportionate use of it to making no use of it, because even in silence we send a message, but what are the words we choose every day?
There are words that build, words that break down.
And these words can build bonds, stories, whole lives or hurt, leaving signs that become indelible because even when we talk without thinking the words know where to strike.
There are empty words.
Those said just to say, those in which we do not even believe, but we’re driven to pronounce them.
There are blackouts of words.
When the emotions and feelings are so strong that no words seem adequate, no one seems to be able to tell them and then even silence becomes beautiful.
There are words of a lifetime,
that just hearing them they put before your eyes the memory of a moment, a love, a season, a friendship, a slap or a caress.
There are lives of words.
No less than endless to describe who we are, what we do, we have done and will do.
Words are lives.
Ours, that every day we live outside and inside the social media also through the words we choose because they tell who we are.
Words are alive.
And you, do you use #wordstosay? During the month of October we look forward to this hashtag designed for them, for the words we use to tell and tell us.
