Happiness it’s not on the nightly news

by Ramona Lucarelli

If it bleeds, it leads. But why not change that up, make our paper, news, social network different?

More often than you think people are fed by others’ pain. How often people display proximity in difficult times but evaporate when life takes over and you’re ready to restart? Of course, the reverse is also true. But it also happens that support a friend who suffers is incredibly easier than share his joy, almost as if be part of other’s misfortunes would make your lives more successful.

Happiness must be a top story on the news.

There’s so many moments where we don’t realize that we’re living happily.
Think of when you’re called “aunt” or “uncle” with no blood ties, and grow inside us an amazing feeling, strong and unexpected; think of when you’re looking at a friend, spreading his cheer far and wide and even your eyes become more beautiful; think of how to attend an important event in the someone else life make us grateful to have been chosen among many.

Try to think about the world as a place where people feed on happiness, and from this, they draw energy to be there for those who’s not as happy; to a place with many opportunities: work together, share, participate, build.
It is always worth it. Why?
Because “those who have understood that life is a serious thing are recognized straight away. They laugh. ”

In this month dedicated to happiness we wish you to fill your daily life with laughter.

Laugh, smile, try to appreciate the happiness in the little things!
I start. My best friend comes back home after twelve years: Spilimbergo, his Ithaca.
#Marinocomesbackhome and I can not tell you how happy I am for him!
It’s up to you, share your happy news using the hashtag #myhappynews
