Culture. Eat it

Soon you will see that, more than a recipe, this detox salad with red chicory & apple is an idea to go on. This is how I get back to you, starting with me. Yes because I’m no longer twenty years old and and I must approach the 28 years of age threshold, it’s time to take C A R E. Mindful of: 1) healthy mind in a healthy body, 2) we have only one body, 3) we are what we eat etc. the time has came to preach well and do this. Although loyal to cause, far be it from me to turn in an health nut woman, I‘m just suggesting that having a body a little less full of fat andcarbohydrates can only make us feel better. As a first step, I leave you an idea for a tasty and appetizing salad, you can tailor on your palate, to enjoy it as an appetizer (or if you’re better than me as a main course) to fill your tummy and avoid subsequent binges. Because in the end, after so many speeches, it’s that I want my flat stomach back. No getting around it – because if I don’t batten down the hatches, in a moment I begin to trundle.
INGREDIENTS (serves 4)
- 2 heads of Treviso red chicory
- A Golden Delicious apple
- Parmesan cheese q.s.
- Walnuts q.s.
- Extra virgin olive oil, salt, high quality balsamic vinegar, black pepper q.s.
Matching soundtrack: Don’t stop me now, Queen
PROCESS
- Wash the red chicory thoroughly and dry it. Cut the leaves into two or three parts and put them in a bowl.
- Season with good extra virgin olive oil, a few drops of balsamic vinegar and a pinch of salt.
- Peel an apple, cut into quarters and take out the cores, then cut them into thin slices and add it all to the bowl with chicory.
- Cut the Parmesan cheese and scatter them over the apples and radicchio, do the same with the walnuts coarsely broken.
- Finish with a drizzle of olive oil and black pepper. Enjoy it and listen to your body thanks you.

Once upon a time there was a 30 years old girl, and she has not the slightest idea what it would be at 32: one, no one but for sure no one hundred thousand. Daughter, sister, friend, mom of a dog, woman of an amazing man. Thinker fulltime, practices the Universal Love. Always looking for which direction take to and who to be doing it. Thank God everything flows. Panta Rei. And in the end, as in a beautiful garden Bahai, she will be delighted by lighting… and she lived happily ever after.
