Tales of ordinary Christmas madness
And among all this frenzy of the Christmas – in its consumer mood – of when you grow up and there is no more Santa Claus to bring you gifts but Santa-is-you, I haven’t had a second to feel it.
To feel Christmas, the real Christmas.
Until I watched Love Actually and I made Christmas cookies.
Now I feel you, my dear Christmas.

HOW TO MAKE CHRISTMAS COOKIES
- In a large bowl pour the flour. In the center add the butter, sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix with your hands.
- It’s time to add eggs. Slowly incorporates the flour and butter until obtaining a smooth and easy to manipulate dough.
- Put a bit of flour on a pastry board and transfer the dough. Knead vigorously and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
- Roll out the dough, so make the Christmas cookies and have fun.
The truth is that this cookies dough is some kind of magic. It’s perfect: neither too soft nor too consistent. It doesn’t break when you work it and, last but not least, gives birth to cookies that are simple and awesome at the same time!
- However, now you just have to bake them: 180 ° C for 10/15 minutes. Keep an eye on them because it takes just one more minute to get them overcooked and ruining all the poetry.
