CERSAIE 2015: THE BATHROOM ACCORDING TO IDEAGROUP

by Sara Cartelli

It happens all the times. You go to a fair, and when you come back, you are so full of news and ideas that you would like to rearrange your house from scratch. This can be good or bad, and that’s what happened to me and Kristel last week after our visit to Cersaie and, in particular, after the blog tour at the booth of Ideagroup. More than a blog tour, it was a journey. A journey that went through shapes, materials and sensations, such as touch and scent. A journey that led to the discovery of a new way of conceiving the bathroom, no longer isolated and relegated to itself, but living space able to communicate with the other rooms of the house. The bathroom is no longer just the bathroom, but the place to be perceived by touch, sight and also by smell. Yes, because every environment was presented accompanied by a specific fragrance, created by the Florentine Teatro in collaboration with Ideagroup.

The stand, welcoming and refined, was the perfect scene for the presentation of novelties and the most appreciated collections of the company. Like Cubik, a line of bathroom furniture with clean and minimalist lines, highly customizable both in terms of modularity that in choice of materials and finishes, ranging from wood, to the lacquered, until ecomalte and the innovative HPL.

The laundry room is an area that often tend to overlook the aesthetic point of view, for several reasons. It is a space in which first of all required functionality. Ideagroup has managed to combine aesthetics and functionality in Spazio Time, a new line designed for an organized and efficient laundry that does not give up about elegance.

Bathroom and dressing room talk to each other thanks to Nyù, a program that gives continuity of style in these two areas through coordinated elements.

The last news was Sense, a collection of strong materials suitable for lovers of resistance and functionality. This range is in fact available in Teak or laminate Fenix NTM, a highly innovative material, obtained with the help of nanotechnology, which gives the surface an absolute level of appearance, aesthetics and performance.
